DISTRICT ACHIEVEMENTS

One of the Austin area district’s most noteworthy achievements of late was the opening of the new Lago Vista High School campus, which doubled in size from the previous facility, boasting a 600-seat auditorium, 2,500-seat football stadium, five science labs, an Ag shop, band hall, and art room. The high school is also a hub of innovation, as evidenced by the rollout of a new technology initiative that puts an iPad in the hands of every student, allowing them access to over 300,000 books and resources. This unwavering dedication to the highest standards of education is what helped Lago Vista High School earn #5 in the Austin Area for Academic Achievement.
