This month’s Austin Monthly magazine features a profile of the Top 15 Public High Schools in the Ausin area, as well as comprehensive rankings for 105 high school, middle school and elementary schools.
It’s no surprise that Lago Vista High School stood among the top, with an impressive ranking at No. 12.
The list was made possible by Children at Risk, a statewide nonprofit that specializes in strategic research, public policy analysis, education, collaboration and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children. The group’s Achievement Index evaluates raw performance on standardized tests and graduation rates.
